Ride the Snake ("the game," "we," "us") is developed by DBX Gaming. This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and who it's shared with.
An anonymous player identity. When you first open the game, we create an anonymous account for your device — a randomly generated ID with no name, email, or phone number attached. This lets your progress (streaks, scores, crown status) save and sync across sessions on the same device.
The nickname you choose. If you set a nickname, it's shown publicly to other players on leaderboards and crown displays. Don't use your real name if you'd rather stay anonymous.
Gameplay data. Your streaks, personal bests, combo records, and which in-game "Worlds" you've played, all tied to your anonymous player ID — used to power leaderboards, your daily Crown status, and your own stats.
Basic usage analytics. We log when you open the app and general gameplay events (like completing a tutorial, clearing a round, or retrying after a loss), tied to your anonymous player ID. This helps us understand which parts of the game work well and which don't — it is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
Ride the Snake shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, under Google's own privacy practices — not directly controlled by us. You can review Google's practices at their Privacy Policy, and manage ad personalization through your device's settings.
Gameplay and account data is stored with Supabase, our backend provider.
Since your account isn't tied to any personal contact information, there's currently no self-service way to view or delete your data from inside the app.
Ride the Snake is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
